KIDS

Preschool Years-Glen Allen Baptist Church does a great job reaching out to the youngest members of its congregation. Nursery is provided for most events and children are always welcome to join their parents. Preschoolers at Glen Allen Baptist enjoy participating in our Cherub Choir, Mission Friends, Children's Church, Vacation Bible School, and special events throughout the year. Sunday School classes are also provided for nursery and preschool ages. We also offer a day school Pre-Kindergarten program for which church members are given priority enrollment. The church has a great fenced playground, preschool classroom facilities, high-chairs at fellowship meals, enthusiastic staff and volunteers, and much more. We would love to meet your little ones and to share the good news of Jesus with them.

Elementary Years-School brings many changes and challenges for our children and Glen Allen Baptist Church is here to help them along their paths. Glen Allen Baptist kids participate in Royal Ambassadors (missions group for young boys), Girls in Action (mission group for young girls), Children's Choir, Children's Church (through first-grade), Vacation Bible School, Boy Scouts, and special events throughout the year. Sunday School classes are provided and are grouped by school-year. Most of our program leaders are also parents, and this active involvement makes for strong programs. The kids of Glen Allen Baptist bring a lot of joy and life to our church. We would love to have your kids join in the experience.

YOUTH

All youth in grades 6 - 12 are welcome to join the Glen Allen Baptist Church Youth Program. Our youth meet on the second floor of the Education Building on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:30, and Sunday nights from 6 - 7:30, during the school year. The summer schedule varies, so please call the church office for exact dates.

Youth enjoy a combination of Bible fun, Christian fellowship, music and drama. The Youth Praise team sings during special worship services. The Youth group also enjoys bowling trips, mission programs, lock-ins, special summer events and movie nights.

Whether its bowling night, or Bible study, all of our youth events are designed to promote spiritual growth. We offer an environment where teens can enjoy Christian fellowship with their peers and learn more about the discipleship of Christ.
